Research Scientist
First Responder Advocate
Data Enthusiast

I hold an M.S. in Modeling and Simulation and a Ph.D. in Modeling and Simulation from the University of Central Florida. My dissertation research focused on leveraging data visualization techniques to better support fireground incident command in decision-making on the fireground.

My work has been published in leading peer-reviewed conferences. Additionally, my research has been recognized by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Cognitive Engineering and Decision-Making Technical Group and by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA).

I have experience working for local, state, and federal agencies, as well as experience working in industry and academia. Given my skill set, I have experience and expertise developing technologies for first responders across the entire product development life cycle. More importantly, I am adept at translating academic research into implementable solutions that are relevant to a wide variety of industry stakeholders. I have supported several multi-billion-dollar research and development efforts across the defense and public safety industries.
